Ames, Iowa. On November 12th, a tornadic storm hit several communities in the central Iowa area. This storm produced eight tornadoes in several counties around the Ames area. The one that struck Stratford in Hamilton County was an F3, as was the one that struck Woodward in Dallas County. The strike in Stratford was deadly, killing one person.
